LAMINATE

Laminated Glass.PNG

With laminated glass you can create countless possibilities that meet your safety and design requirements. For years, laminated glass has been considered a safety glass product, using PVB, EVA and/or SGP interlayers between two or more pieces of glass creating a bond. Now with the development of new products Laminated glass not only provides a safety component, it can be used as a decorative interlayer (Vanceva®) to boost any design. Sound control and UV protection are some of the many benefits to using laminated glass.

TEMPERED GLASS

Tempered Glass.jpg

Annealed Glass that is strengthened through the process of heating and then cooling the surface rapidly is known as Tempered Glass. This process creates surface compression and tensile strength that causes glass to be more resistant to breakage yet disintegrates into small pieces if a break occurs. Tempered glass is approximately five times more impact resistant than non-tempered glass and reduces thermal stress in the glass. The tempering process is a safety requirement that is mandatory in most design qualifications and building codes.

GPW
