With laminated glass you can create countless possibilities that meet your safety and design requirements. For years, laminated glass has been considered a safety glass product, using PVB, EVA and/or SGP interlayers between two or more pieces of glass creating a bond. Now with the development of new products Laminated glass not only provides a safety component, it can be used as a decorative interlayer (Vanceva®) to boost any design. Sound control and UV protection are some of the many benefits to using laminated glass.
Annealed Glass that is strengthened through the process of heating and then cooling the surface rapidly is known as Tempered Glass. This process creates surface compression and tensile strength that causes glass to be more resistant to breakage yet disintegrates into small pieces if a break occurs. Tempered glass is approximately five times more impact resistant than non-tempered glass and reduces thermal stress in the glass. The tempering process is a safety requirement that is mandatory in most design qualifications and building codes.
GPW (Georgian Polished Wire) glass is known for its fire-resistant properties. It is comprised of a mesh patterned wire that holds the glass together when broken by thermal stress. We also carry wire glass with an added safety film allowing a further enhanced performance. This type of glass is most commonly used for doors, partitions, and windows in public buildings such as schools and offices.
Available in GPW , also available in a cast wire pattern and Misco wire.

When cured the glue becomes almost invisible resulting in a seamless and very sophisticated appearance. UV Bonding is the strongest and most professional way to construct high quality furniture, showcases, decorative pieces, and much more.
